Itinerary

Day 1: Addis Ababa

On your arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport you will be met by our representative at your terminal and you will be escorted to your vehicle. You will then be taken for a short excursion to the National Museum of Ethiopia if time allows and later on transferred to your luxurious hotel at the city centre for dinner and overnight. Day 2: Addis Ababa – Bahir Dar

Following your breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board your onward flight to Bahir Dar and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. On your flight to Bahir Dar marvel at the beautiful landscapes as you enjoy the beckoning breeze of welcome. After lunch you will head out for the popular Lake Tana and hop on a boat for a delightful ride which is the source of Blue Nile. You will then return to your eco-friendly lodge by early evening for dinner and overnight. (Fullboard)

Day 3: Bahir Dar

After your healthy organic breakfast, you will depart for the Blue Nile for a sightseeing experience then go back to your camp for lunch and perhaps follow with a siesta. You will then depart with a local expert guide to the former palace of Haile Selassie and learn the deep history before going back to your lodge. Later depart for a short walk and enjoy views of the setting sun then follow with dinner and overnight at your eco-friendly lodge. (Fullboard)

Day 4: Bahir Dar – Gondar

After breakfast you will board the vehicle and depart for Gondar to arrive in time for lunch. Gondar was home to many of the county’s most famous kings and emperors, warlords and courtiers who built a succession of impressive castles and churches connected by a series of secret tunnels. You will sure enjoy the deep connected history of these structures. After lunch you will be accompanied with your local guide for this deep historical adventure. You will later be returned to your eco-friendly lodge for dinner and overnight. (Fullboard)

Day 5: Gondar – Axum

After your organic breakfast, you will depart with your packed lunch for a long adventurous drive to the holy land of Axum. You can be sure to enjoy the drive on the scenic plain lands as you learn about the local culture and lifestyle from your experienced guide. On arrival, you will retire for some rest and perhaps be relaxed with a worthwhile massage as you await your dinner. Overnight stay will be at the eco-friendly lodge. (Fullboard)

Day 6: Axum

Following your breakfast, you will spend the day exploring the gems in Axum. Some of the places you will visit include Axum Tsion St. Mary, Obelisk of Axum and Queen of Sheba’s bath. You will be returned to your lodge by late afternoon to have some leisurely time. Dinner and overnight will be at your eco-friendly lodge. (Fullboard)

Day 7: Axum – Addis Ababa

After breakfast you will spend the rest of the morning unearthing the rest of the gems in Axum. Later on, you will be accompanied back to your camp for lunch and enjoy a siesta as you await your transfer to Axum airport for the late afternoon departure flight to back to Addis Ababa. On your arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for your dinner and overnight. (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 8: Addis Ababa

After a healthy breakfast, you will be met by our representative and be escorted to your vehicle for transfer to the airport for your scheduled onward flight.
