Focused Groups Safaris
These types of safaris are organized for specific groups. Over the years we have had the pleasure of managing different types of clientele, and in the process designed itineraries suited to their needs. Below find examples of such focused groups;
- Safaris for Community Development Workers – Our experience in managing projects in Kenya and our interaction with foreign community aid workers has revealed that they hardly have an opportunity to tour and enjoy the scenic countryside of our beautiful country. This is attributed to their limited information within the short span of time they have available to consider going on safari. Evergreen Holidays Africa has a special package for this cluster of people and all we ask them is to spare at least four days out of their busy schedule for us to indulge them in an African adventure. The itinerary can be tailor made to suit each individual’s interests designed to give them maximum fun and adventure. They always deserve it!
- Safaris for Medical Teams – With Kenya being a developing country, there are many life-threatening diseases that outweighs the experts available and especially in the rural parts of the country where sick people have to travel miles and miles to seek medical assistance. Evergreen Holidays Africa seeks to link up with medical experts doing research or out on vacation but would like to offer advice and expertise with strategic mission hospitals and outreach programs. Here the medics can offer services and climax their stay with an exciting safari to the wilderness.
- Mission Safaris – Evergreen Holidays Africa is strategically placed to deal with mission groups from different nationalities who would want to tour Kenya and share their faith with the locals. We assist with all the logistical issues including transport, organizing for open air meetings, indoor meetings, translations, accommodation and any other aspect that will make their mission a success. In addition, we make sure that they pack their guitars and microphones and adorn safari boots for an unforgettable safari to the wilderness or soak up some sun at the Kenyan Coast.
- Safaris for Students and Research Teams – We have a program in place for students who are out of school either for their Gap Year or have just graduated from college and have time on their hands to engage in community work or just travelling for pleasure. Evergreen Holidays will assist such students with volunteer placement for a period of between 2 to 6 weeks where they will stay and work with locals and assist in education, health or social work activities. Researchers looking for a place to enrich their knowledge base for academic and non-academic purposes can also contact us for assistance in identifying communities to work with including translation services and affordable accommodation.
