Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha

Arusha has been a crucial city in the history of modern Tanzania. Tourism is a major part of the economy of the city of Arusha, and is considered the largest dollar-earning economic sector in Tanzania. The city is located on the northern safari circuit near some of the greatest national parks and game reserves in Africa.

On your arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be picked from your terminal by one of our representatives. You will then be escorted to your vehicle for your transfer to your luxurious hotel. (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park covers a total area of 470km2 and is a shallow, alkaline lake in the Natron-Manyara-Balangida branch of the East African Rift in Manyara Region. The park is well known for its tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake and for flocks of thousands flamingos that feed along the shores of the lake in the wet season. At times, there have been over an estimated 2 million individuals of various species of water birds. The park has a big number of elephants, so many giraffes; zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, and warthog, small known shy Kirk’s dik dik as well as Klipspringer along the ramps of the escarpment.

Following your breakfast, you will be met by our representative for a detailed briefing of your tour before departure. You will then board your safari vehicle for a drive to Lake Manyara National Park to arrive in time for lunch. You will enjoy the panoramic scenery of the lush grasslands on your way to the park. After lunch you will depart for an enchanting afternoon game drive at the park. You will be returned to your lodge by late afternoon for dinner and overnight at an eco-friendly lodge. (Fullboard)

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti covers an area of ​​about 30,000 km2 in the north of Tanzania and Kenya, 80% of which is located in Tanzania. The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and thousands of predators fleeing drought in search of fresh water and grazing. After the rains arrive in mid-April they make the reserve journey via a detour through the western portion of the Serengeti. Grasslands cover more than one third of the park and you will find many animals here throughout the year.

On this day you will depart for an early morning game drive. You will afterwards return to your lodge for breakfast then prepare yourself for your next breathtaking adventure. You will be driven to Serengeti National Park to arrive by lunch time at your lodge. On arrival, you will be assisted to check in. Enjoy your well prepared lunch and relax for a short while before you depart for an afternoon guided nature walk. Discover the biodiversity of the park then return to your eco-friendly lodge for a sundowner experience. Follow with dinner and overnight. (Fullboard)

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

You will depart for an early morning game drive or for an optional balloon safari and thereafter follow with an organic bush breakfast. You will then return to your lodge for a rest and enjoy some of your preferred activities offered by the lodge as you await lunch. After lunch you will visit a cultural village and spend some time with them. Learn about their culture in depth, participate in some of their activities and interact with them. You will then return to your eco-friendly lodge for dinner and overnight. (Fullboard)

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

The Ngorongoro conservation area supports diverse variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

After breakfast, you will depart for a drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive en-route to arrive in time for lunch. Arriving at the edge of the crater in the afternoon, you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day i.e. glistening streams, open grassland and an infinite number of animals. On your arrival you will be assisted to check in. You will then enjoy your lunch and take a short rest before you depart for the afternoon game drive. You will be returned to your eco-friendly lodge for dinner and overnight. (Fullboard)

Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Arusha

You will depart for your final early morning game drive then return to your lodge for breakfast. You will then prepare for your next drive back to Arusha. On your arrival, you will be transferred to a popular city restaurant for lunch before drop off back to the airport for your scheduled departure flight.
